95 degrees. 2 hours. Lots of digging. 43 pennies, 12 of which are wheats. 3 1940s wheats were part of a spill with a 1941 nickel. I also got some interesting relics which I'll post in a bit.

Here they are cleaned up via tumbler. I'll probably put the non-pennies back in to get a better shine.

Hey, 43 pennies saved is 43 pennies earned, in my "tumble" opinion.

What do you put in your tumbler?

I don't know what HE uses, but I use pea gravel and a drop of dish soap and even the worst of pennies come out looking great.

I will try that. I have been using vinegar with alittle bit of salt. Saw that on a youtube video. works pretty good.

Wow thats a lot of wheats, hope I find a good spot like that someday. Usually if I get 2 its a great day!

Great finds, Grant!

When I mix coins I'll use half aquarium gravel and half water with a pinch of soap. I usually let it go for 5-6 hours. If I want the non-pennies to come out really shiny, I'll repeat the process but instead of soap I use Flitz (I think that's what it's called, I don't have it in front of me).

Yeah, it produced a lot! Dug pretty much straight for 2 hours.
