Nice finds Petrie502. Now, it would really help if you could (since you have them and pictures still make it difficult to read) relay what words, letters, etc. are on each of the items. That really doesn help in searching for information on the net.

Unusual & very nice jewelry! :icon_thumright: :headbang: Enlarged, the words on ring seem to be "State of Kentucky" and words on pendant are "Louisville, Kentucky", but could you verify that? Handsome ring, and the pendant may be a commemorative key to the city, hmm...... There's probably even more goodies in that site! Andi

Yes those are definatly what it reads

Any more ideas

Your brass handle thing is a piece off a brass stirrup. It's a nice find and most likely civil war era. Here a re a couple pictures.

As far as the pendant, is is a key to someones heart theme. Whether city OR to a loved one And oddity subject matter expert with more experience may differ/factually identify it and ring. Stirrup looks like a perfect ID....Great job!

Your two brass items are a suspender clip and the top of a stirrup probably civil war era. The ring and key are not from the civil war. Nice finds.

Those are great finds, I'm not certain but it looks like a Kentucky state seal I don't know the era

Awesome ID on the stirup I had no clue!! Wow that's awesome!! Now is there a way to know if it was confederate or union by the design! And would it have been an officers horse since its brass!!

That ring is similar to one I dug here in SW MO. I also dug a capped bust dime and a hand cuff key, bullets and other civil war stuff. The last time I went back I dug a nice US Boxplate. civil war camp finds.webpcivil war ring.webpboxplate 2013.webp

Very nice finds!! Congrats!
