Pennsylvania was pretty kind to me, considering.

There's no constant in life greater than change, but man! ;)
I've been trying to coordinate a business trip with family and a hunt for months!
Finally, I managed to get up there, near the N.E. area and nothing, I mean NOTHING,
went right on my schedule! I only managed to sneak off for a few hours on just one day! No research, no knowledge
of the area, just drove around, found a park and got my fix. ;) Here's the results:

The pics don't do this justice. There's almost a mirror finish on this coin. :dontknow:

But, even with this ad hoc hunt, Pennsylvania was kind enough to give me this
really nice old piece. From the middle of the infield no less! LOL

And, even Blingie seems happy.

What was the going rate on rubber band necklaces again? :icon_scratch: ;)

All in all, not too terrible! :) There ARE people hunting up there, aren't there? ;)

Thanks for peeking!

Nice finds! Sometimes, I like knowing nothing of the area I'm hunting.

yeah, really nice finds

Nice railroad lock. (DELAWARE LACKAWANA & WESTERN)

(Love the rail related stuff... my son is a Yardmaster for Norfolk Southern)

The bale seal is cool too. (interesting mix of ages)

Nice digs!, looks like you found a nice spot in my "neck of the woods"

Cool recoveries. I don't think there are to many parks left that haven't been gone through in this day in age.

Yeah, I tried SOOOOOO hard!!! Just was not to be this time I guess, for whatever reason. :dontknow:
I haven't quit trying though. :)

Certainly seemed target rich. But, I guess it was just the spot where Old Dude & you skipped over all the clad. ;)

Ya know, I just really don't pay too much attention to whether a place has been gone through anymore. ;)

Thanks!

Thanks! I really like this lock myself. Funny where it was though. A HUGE 90 plus signal, near the surface of a ball diamond. AND, nobody thought to peek? LOL

Interesting place! :)

It was great that you got your fix while on a business trip. Excellent finds too for a park you had not researched. Congrats. The lock is really nice.

haha PA is a very old state with lots of history and old stuff lost in the ground. The closer you get to Phila - the older things can get.
You didn't do too bad for random picks. Too bad you didn't hit some silver or LC's but that site obviously hasn't been hunted
in awhile! HH!

Nice detecting trip it looks like !!

I really wish you had sent a pm too, but looks like you did fine all by yourself, lol. I have been wondering if you had decided not to come up. Too bad you aren't here this morning.....Chris and I may need to hit a park, lol.

Nice digs and thanks for those pictures

so i went out to a park this morning and was gonna look for some clad. I couldnt even find a signal. on the infield somebody wrote in the dirt, "W.I.F was here" and there was tiny lizard tracks everywhere....:dontknow:

Very productive hunt! The old padlock really steals the show, with the seal being a close second place!
