Picked up a bunch of misc rolls today. One pick up was $20 in MWR cents. They are the clear wrapped rolls and appear to be nearly solid copper. There are 3 wheat enders total between the 40 rolls. I opened one roll (non-ender) and found a 4 wheaties, 44 non-wheat coppers and 2 2014 cents. Weird. Taking guesses on the total haul, wheats, coppers, IHP, CAD, foreign, whatever people want to guess. I'll post results in a couple of hours.

Clearly this is a gripping thread....

2000 pennies
75 wheats
42 2014
18 Canadian
1 Bermuda piggy penny
1863 copper pennies - not a single coin dated from 1983 to 2013. Weirdest MWR's I've ever found.

Hah. I'll bite.

That's pretty solid... Not much to dump there. I don't really have the money to hunt silver right now so I've been hunting pennies exclusively for the last like 4-6 months. Not really keeping stats, just stashing away a little bit at a time. I love to find the wheats too..

Nice little hit there. Pretty nice to not have to deal with the newer ones.

That's a lot if wheats for not many pennies. I only get about 12 a box. Nice finds

Nice finds! Any early wheats? (Didn't get on here until just a few minutes ago.)

No early wheats. I think '37 was the earliest. I can't really figure out what has to occur for a 97% copper MWR box to occur.

My 6 year found a '77-s nickel 6 coins into the first nickel roll. My inability to find a proof nickel remains. I did find a single war nickel later.

Dime where a complete skunk.

aw man I didn't have a chance to guess!! awesome partial box, go back to that bank and see if you can buy sll their pennies from them.

She cracked two other boxes open looking for more 'good' rolls and they were all bright new boxes. It was also funny for guessing that statistically speaking one wheat ender should equate to 25 wheaties and I had 3 enders and exactly 75 wheats so sometimes it does hold true.

Finally opened the other $30 in pennies I picked up yesterday. Today the 6 year old found an '09 Wheatie, our first. I found and '11 and the 8 year old found a '27. One of the weirdest rolls had 49 2013's in it and a 1999 D dime. The whole hunt yesterday was weird. I upped my halves boxes starting next week so I'm hoping to get back into the silver.
