I have hundreds of them and a few I haven't found info on anywhere. I realize there are some token loving people on here so I thought I would post three to see if there is any information out there anywhere on them. If I remember right, all were found in lakes in eastern Michigan.

The middle token has an address that is also in Detroit.
At one time, a saloon occupied that address.
At another time a feed, grain and flour store occupied the premises.
Neither, however was associated to the name Schmidt.

From Post #22 here:
Alt Heidelberg mystery building/Henry the Hatter site
"I had started searching earlier and just came up with this information from the 1910 Detroit Directory and the old-to-new address for that location from the 1920 Detroit Directory. It confirms that Herman A. Hinz was a restauranteur and proprietor of "Hinz Hall" at 75 Gratiot (later 287 Gratiot)."
Perhaps Schmidt was the owner of this restaurant in 1917..
Don......

:icon_thumright:The fact they had to place an add that Germans were Welcome suggests, at least to me,
It was a fairly new restaurant in Sept. 1917. maybe brand new

Thanks Don. I registered and uploaded the pictures of the one. I wonder why the first person that posted it didn't give a picture?

Many of the tokens there are listed from token catalogs where there is nothing but a description. Therefore, they are waiting for people who actually have the token to provide pics.

The top token is a modern government issue token where they reward you $1.00 to be P.C.! :laughing7:
