The City of Santa Monica has an annual citywide yard sale. This Saturday, I easily hit 100+ sales, and missed more than I hit. Found a lot of interesting things, but did not hit a home run. Got a few doubles, maybe a triple, but no homers. Ah well, refilled my Amazon store.

Nice, I wish I could hit 100+ sales on a weekend, but id probably put myself in the poor house.

I love community sales. Here in Ohio I hit one almost every weekend from April through September. It took me years to learn where all the sales are. I consistently hit 100 sales a week. I usually don't spend much, because I am cheap and picky. However, if the right stuff is in front of me, I will really unload the wallet. I only buy items if I know I will get a 5X or 10X return.
