Permission To Hunt a 1930's House!
I saw the owner of an old house ripping out his grass in the front yard and introduced myself and asked if I could
metal detect his yards. To my surprise he said "Go for it"! I don't think I ever met a nicer person, he actually cheered me on!
The front yard was tiny, only about 25' X 15'. I still managed about 10 or 12 coins & a Tootsie Toy car, but none of them were old.
I finished the front yard working it slow and then proceeded to the back yard. I hit a few more Lincolns and a few clad dimes. After about
10 minutes I get a perfect signal at 2 inches and out pops a silver Rosie! I put the Rosie in my pouch and sweep the coil about 3 or
4 inches to the right of the hole I just dug and get another good coin signal, this one was deeper, about 5 inches. Out pops another
Rosie silver dime! They both were almost in the same hole! Total coins were 26 from the front and back yards. Also dug 2 wheaties.
Sometimes you get an owner who is nice! This one sure was! I showed him the silver coins after I was done and he didn't know what
a silver dime was!

I am surprised that you didn't pull any older silvers though. Anyways you had an awesome hunt. A couple of silvers will feed the fire.
