One of my favorite types, That's what I'm always hoping for on a Miss. hunt !

Rock, the bottom, right, second point along, looks like a Catahoula, you find those type in your state? if its not what I think it is, then what type is is? Catahoula's are a favourite of mine.. ::)
Excellent frame, lots of variety. I've got so used to seeing much larger points/blades from MO, its nice to see birdies..
Also, the Mottled tan point, I think its left, bottom, second up? I have an Aux Arc,made of that rock, what is it? mines also from MO.
Thanks for sharin'

Molly.

Yep that's a Catahoula, It's a true heart breaker with that ear missing, it's super thin and fine, Also the bottom row 4th from left is a Catahoula.
The mottled tan point is made from Citronelle gravel, All of those points are out of Citronelle. In that part of Miss. that's the only available material that occurs naturally. There's points made out of other materials found in that area, Certain cultures imported materials, Poverty points sites have some imported materials and some of the paleo points were from exotic imports.

Thankyou Rock, I had no idea what material it was..
Yeah shame the catahoula is broke, I have a beautiful Agate,Agee, thats broke. :'( its on the list to get restored though. :)
Thankyou..

Molly. :)
