Petrified wood found while canoeing the Little River near Goldsboro, NC

It is about 7 inches long. My boys and I found it on the bank during a canoe trip.

You can pressure-wash it at your local car wash. Of course, pressure-washing will separate any fractured portions. Otherwise, you can soak it in a laundry bleach solution.

Thanks, I have a pressure washer...I never thought of using it for that....I will do the bleach solution first
