If you visit the Quartzsite area, you must go to the petroglyph site in Tyson's Wash. Go south on the Old Yuma Rd until you get to Rd 0139. Turn right and follow it to the wash. Unless you have a 4x4, park here before going out on the loose sand and pebbles. The glyphs are right around the rock outcrop right there.

There are more but some have been vandalized.
Directly across the wash, on the rocks there are at least five grinding holes.
And..... there is also a "Geocache" close to the holes! It would appear that it has been there since 2015.

PeteyGirl and I have been here in Quartzsite since the 24th of January and will go look for gold at Stanton in March. TTC
