Pewter button ID

[Smilodon]

This button was found at a new site were the Brown Bess part, The pewter eagle hat pin, Sword finial, many flat buttons and some Hibernias. Some of those items I posted ealier and will be putting the rest of this find on todaysfind. ANy ideas on this one

Rev War British 23rd Regiment. That's a good find. I dug a 62rd with a rust spot like that and used a pair of tweezers to pinch some of the rust off. Didn't do wonders but did help it a bit.
