Metal Detecting
Hello everyone. I found this spoon metal detecting this afternoon after work. I thought it was lead because it bends so easy. It has 3 sunflower looking designs on the front and back. The back mark is gone and was wondering how old it might be.

The orange patina means that it's made of brass. Pewter spoons usually have a greyish patina and are pitted. They don't hold up very well in the ground.

Brass as FreeBirdTim stated.
Have dug this type of pattern before, homestead finds from the late 1800's early 1900
