I'm a trift store hunter and I checked every store front-wards & back, because treasures will be uncovered, especially in the fast turnover large city stores. I found three silver souvenir spoons in a little bag for 99 cents full of mostly small spoons that were stainless steel and silver plate. It even has a Rolex souvenir spoon made of stainless in it.. My question is this Paris souvenir spoon. It has a French mark for a 95% silver purity, which was easy to I.D. but on the back edge of the bowl is a rather odd pictorial mark I can't make out. Could be a tough one to ID. Anyhoo It has a spot value of just a tad over $30.00 in silver in this 99 cent bag. Souvenir spoons generally can go for more than scrap, because some folks still like to collect the silver ones. Some I've seen with fancy fired on images have sold for more than a thousand bucks on ebay. I'm still on the hunt for any of those.
