I beat you today, scrounged around about 10 banks up near you and got $130 in customer turned in rolls and found 4 40% out of that pile. Normally try to stay away from up there, but the dentist wanted me to come in and do his thing, taking a lot of my money. While I had about 2 hours to kill, I hunted. You sure do have a ton of banks and credit unions up there!! A couple of those places said we have a guy that comes in all the time, so I said good for him, it is nice when one guy takes them from you and she agreed. Might have been one of your places?? So if they were saving them for you they are still there.

heh you and me both i got 840 in rolled skunks

some of them had 225 and 226 on the rolls....I almost pissed myself laughing at the waste of time weighing a roll, side slittling it, taping it shut, and taking it back vs. coin locking it.....oh well figured i'd see if there were any 40%'s floating in the wreckage of noobdom but i was denied today.

On the plus side at said bank I secured another vault teller to save me all Halves, big dollars, and CWR dimes which is significant, i am now pulling in 2500+ CWR dimes per week.

Don't pay attention to Gilmore and Weighit... They are using reverse psychology to keep everyone away from the endless font of silver in Arizona. 2 Examples:

1) I stopped in a gas station there once and found a Ben in the "take a silver half, give a silver half" tray.
2) There's so much silver there, the pay phones and vending machines ONLY take silver quarters - they reject the friggin clad!

You guys aren't foolin' me...

I bet that magician coin is really an 1880 half, isn't it?

Phoenix has had less silver than most area in boxes of halves since at least 2006. That's why I work pennies, nickjels and dimes. ONly get the loose halves from tellers.

Yes I get silver, and two others I know here get silver. But sparse. Last year I posted as I went through a skunk streak of 52 skunks in 55 boxes. Others had 1, 1 and 2 silvers. Four silvers in 55 boxes.

I've done hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of boxes, and had only one that more than 10 silvers in it. Hopefully GH is dong better than that. But I repeat that silver has been tight here for halves in boxes since at least 2006.

I hear all the time you should have been here yesterday, especially when I go north to the 'bright lights" of Phoenix and the surrounding areas. The "guy" that comes all the time got the ones we had. You must cover a couple of hundred square miles banks up there. Way too much driving for me.....other than going to the dentist, I really try to stay away.
