Photos from a short walk today

I took a very short and easy walk this afternoon and was hoping to see something to photograph, I did . Nothing out of the ordinary, but for a 45 minute easy stroll, seeing two snakes, one froggy, dragonfly and cute butterfly made it all worthwhile, besides the much needed exercise.
Also, found an old overgrown field (now wooded) that I will check out with the metal detector this fall.

Wes, I sure was and this will be the place I go to get a good one, because of my knee I was not able to kneel down for a good steady closeup, I did the best I could sort of half crotched down, at least the Dragonfly cooperated, actually he took off once and landed again on the same log to give me a better opportunity.
I did take a closeup of the Green snake but I focused on the ground in Macro and not the snakes head, so although you can see the veins in his eyes (LOL) the shot was blurred so I scrapped it....
