Picked up some silver halves from the teller tray (actually an envelope)

Went into a bank as usual and asked for dimes and nickels and halves. Teller had $27 in an envelope, and of course I bought them all. Included were 8 silvers (1 90% and 7 40%). Of the $140 or so dimes I searched today, got 1 1957D silver in a MWR.

Also went into the bank that saves coins for me (the place where I got the $8 in silver quarters - in a prior post) and they said someone turned in $250 in halves. I took $50, and low and behold I can tell that they are someone's dump from a box search. In due time I am sure I will probably find the other bank where the person dropped the other $250. Next time I go in I am going to tell them to ship the rest back out, and that I have been spending the $50 all over the place.

that envelope had more silver than my 80 PLUS boxes since 1/1/21

I love when a teller gets snippy when I ask for halves. "YOU WON'T FIND ANY SILVER IN THEM!!" I ALREADY GOT THOSE!!" As she hands the coin bag over and I hear all the 40%'ers jingling in there =)

Around here many don't know they are silver or even if they do, they just don't care.
