Pictures of artifacts please

I am starting this thread in the hopes that the members of this forum will flood it with pictures of all the various artifacts they have found and or collected over time. I figured this thread could provide novice hunters and collectors with a vast wealth from which to learn from and compare to.

I thank you all for helping further my education as well as others.

Late woodland pipe. 8” Ohio. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1572995781.179608.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1572995873.657493.webp

That pipe is amazing!

I agree. I can't imagine the time and effort involved in making that by hand from one piece of stone.

Here's a flint axe, one of the first things I found on the same site that produced the speckled banner. The notches are worn very smooth.

Well, I did it. I retired.
I can now be a full time digger and hunter. First thing to do is catch up on the documentation and the boards I've neglected.
This is Frame A, all Texas. enjoy ya'll.

Retirement

Noun

Ree-tire-ment

Meaning: Retirement is the act of not giving a d**n anymore, in the act of relaxation.

From the bottom of my soul I thank everyone for sharing on this thread. Absolutely amazing!!!

A friend of mine found this handle to some kind of pottery in Indian Gully in Montgomery county Ia

Here's a notched hardstone axe that was frozen to the ground when I found it. Broke out a chunk of dirt and took it home and thawed it out to get it loose. That's too dadburned cold for south Georgia.

This may sound suspect, but I think (well I know) I can help you out with this piece. It’s not complete and you have to know the geometric pattern their using and finish it by creating lines that connect at all the right intersection points. once you do you’ll see and understand the meaning. They have only given you bits and pieces. I already know how to complete it. What an incredible find!

Problematical piece. Fort Ancient? Wish i could read Indian. 3"x3" made of Hematite Adams Co. OhView attachment 1768314View attachment 1768315
