Pictures of artifacts please

I am starting this thread in the hopes that the members of this forum will flood it with pictures of all the various artifacts they have found and or collected over time. I figured this thread could provide novice hunters and collectors with a vast wealth from which to learn from and compare to.

I thank you all for helping further my education as well as others.

Florida Culbreth with a fossil inclusion. It's actually got small crystals in the crack. Pasco County.
Newnan from fill dirt on a Gainesville construction site. Material turns soft & chalky in some Florida soils.
I like knarly looking points!

Really nice (and big) construction site finds!
Those Newman’s always seem to be very well made.

Here is a Thebes point from the Hamilton County Indiana, White River watershed area. 2 3/4 inch Thebes; heavily patinated burlington flint; left hand bevel with heavily ground base.

I have found a number of Thebes over the years, one very close to my house before I bought the house. One of my favorite point types.

That is superfine!

View attachment 1765772. I have quite a few of these large axes. Kidding aside, I do believe in some cases they were used by very large men some would call giants. 7’ to 7 1/2’ Adena Indians were not uncommon. These were not basketball player types either, these were football player types with big heads and wide shoulders. Huge men. The axe pictured is from Ohio. 13” 15lbs. Probably one of the nicer examples you could ever hope to own.View attachment 1765773

Read the book, "Giants on Record," by Jim Vieira and Hugh Newman. Very interesting read...

That is a fine example of an Indiana Thebes. Not sure if it's just the style, but they always look bigger than they really are.

Some nice pestles from the midwest.

Really nice artifacts dognose, I love those bell pestles. Those are very fine examples.

Here is a nice square knife I found in central Indiana. One small nick on one end.

very nice Texas relics there, are those personal finds?

Here is an older picture I have on my laptop. Dovetails from Whitley County Indiana, most are personal finds but a couple are purchases from old collections that I bought because of where they were found.

I've posted these before, but figured they fit here. The point in the center is a picture of a find I sold in High School, still hope to refind and acquire it one of these years.

I hope you got a pretty penny for the center one. That’s the cats meow. Hope you find it someday.

Sweet dovetails .... would be really cool if you can track down and get that center one back I also really like that serrated point in the corner .... that’s killer

Im getting into Trade Beads from the fur trade era. I am also adding my pottery frame and a gift frame from another member he can claim it if he likes. They are from S GA. I did add a couple to fill it up but sure do enjoy looking at his finds he gifted me, thanks buddy.
