Pictures of the Nautilas metal

Here are pics of the front and back. I'm still working on cleaning up the piece. It's going slowly, but the gunk is coming off a little at a time. I've been soaking it in olive oil, brushing and then using heated hydrogen peroxide . Anybody have any Idea of the history on this piece?

On closer inspection, the metal says Miami Beach. Another person at Findmall.com IDed it as coming from an old hotel on Miami Beach that is now gone.
