We don't have a lot of pink artifacts but I found these yesterday. Most sites on the Cumberland River are Woodland here but this one was on a upland creek in a tobacco patch where I have spiked many stalks of tobacco years ago & we picked up points. A well known dealer in KY thinks it's a resharpened Dovetail dating to around 6,000 BP. Nothing exciting but it survived the plow and disk for many years. I know little about N.A. artifacts but Tnmountains is alowly educating me a little. My first pink stone scraper too. HH, Quindy.

I found a pink triangle this yr. 1st for me

Nice finds. You have to think that they appreciated nice looking material. So what did Tom Davis say about the pink tipped point? I think I guessed wrong on it. That happens a lot.

Resharpened Dovetail Richard. I'm wrong on a regular basis-LOL. HH, Q.
