Piranna question

Cleaning my garage and found the Piranha that I got about a year ago, It has a 8 inch coil and a 7 inch coil. The 7" must be from a newer model right? Both coils gave a signal on a air test, I'm guessing a Sand Shark coil? I got it for the straight rod it had and I put the rod on the Excalibur II which I got a week before the Piranha. I haven't used either one yet because of eye surgery I had in Feb. 2010. I'm probably going to sell the extra coil but need to know what it fits and which one would be better used on the Piranha.

The Piranha is an older Sand Shark version and I believe the coils work on both, but am not sure. I would keep the 8" for it as it will be a little deeper and cover more ground. You wouldn't get much for the 7" so I would keep it incase anything happened to the 8" as Tesoro doesn't make the coil connectors for any of the water detectors anymore.
