How often can I swing the detector on February 29th? With frost-free ground, in Iowa?

I found a lot of hardware: nails, bolts, fence wire, screws, etc.
Shown: one of those melted piles of non-ferrous slag and the hardware from a pair of Faded Glory britches.
I seriously hope that none of you (who were able to get out) did worse than this.😆
Faded Glory started in 1972, ala Wally-World. I haven’t shopped at a Walmart since around 2006. I forgot the brand existed.

Could have been worse Blackfoot, it could have been pull tabs.
