So...there I was again, in my place, cladding away. Finding fairly well but I was nearing my limit, about 4 hours. So....I asked my partner, ok for me to just start back to the car? I think I'm gonna just turn up my personal discriminator. OTWBTTC...just "high squeaks"?
I took one maybe two steps and got a trash can lid signal!! Bout knocked my eardrums out!
I looked up and said, "I take that to mean....no?"

The blob on the left I think is aluminum, the one on the right, much heavier, nonmagnetic, silverish inside but definitely not lead.
The axe? I don't know my axe from a hole in the ground.
But, it is really heavy!
After I got these in, I continued toward the car. Another two steps and I got one of those double hits. Two coins close together. Both sounding like dimes, one, a lil deeper.
Now, remember, I was gonna just do quarters. But that loud "no" I got made me dig. Got the first one, a clad dime. I'm still tired, almost forgot the 2nd one. Turned around and found it, dug...thought it was a penny.

Glad I listen to my partner.
A few yards further and another iffy signal. I dug anyway.
(my arms are too short to box with my partner.)

When I flipped it over, the sun almost blinded me with the reflection! LOL !

All in all, not too shabby! I think I'm wearing this place down.

Musket ball and a strangely shaped, possible coin?

An award walk for this year.

Definitely going to be tough to top.
Thanks for the support and for peeking!
