The last dog we had was a 'blacksmith dog' whenever you gave him a kick in the arse, he would make a Bolt for the Door!

Thanks Mona! This awesome post has been around so long......I lost both my dogs this spring . 15 was a long life, but hard to let go.

Well......there was a silly little hound that thought she might have it alright if she looked at me just right. That will teach me to go to the pound again . She is worth every shoe !

I was looking through these pet pics and remembered that i put our German Shephards in...been awhile ago....just wanted to update everyone...we had to put our 13 yr old "Lady" to rest on Nov. 4, 2007...she had been suffering with arthritis and had gotten a tumor it was cancerous....So sadly enough the suffering is done.

Great pics all those who are new...great idea Mona to bring this thread forward for the new members to share.....

So sorry Michelle . We had Snuff die last Feb. and Oscar in April. They were 15 and priceless. I feel your pain, I still get teary. . We rescued Micki a few months ago and I coludn't have asked for a better dog! Not a replacement but a great match. Gotta love a dogs love. Keep the faith my friend!

Yeah...life goes on. We lost Lady, our border collie, in October 2006.

And recently acquired Bill. He was on death row at the Humane Society. Bill is incredibly smart and bad and fun. I like to call him "Wild Bill". He's stolen all of our hearts already.

Here are my two dogs. The black one is a lab-mix named Wrigley (after Wrigley Field for all you baseball fans) and the white dog is Jasper, a purebred West Highland White Terrier. The pic was taken about 2 months ago. Wrigley was about 5 months old and Jasper was about 11 years old at the time the picture was taken. Jasper is the bully of the house. He's eating Wrigley's food and all she can do is sit and watch. I also have a black cat named Sparkle (born on the 4th of July). She's about 5 years old and HATES people. Especially me.
