Nice work Homestead Hunter, my folks house overlooks the downs (south side). I grew up in Tularosa/Alamo/LC myself. I've often thought of doing a bit of panning in Nogal, or the Ruidoso. Maybe next trip out I'll just bring home a 3-4 buckets of dirt to play with.
