While searching a through box of halves I picked up today, I came across this half and at first I thought it had been run over by something. I took a closer look and it appears to be a planchet error with the copper core folded over or laminated and a depression at the right. What do you think? A keeper?

It sure looks like a keeper. I don't know much about errors but you could try posting a question on the Cointalk.org website. They have guys there that can tell you if it is an error or post mint damage.
