I started out hunting the dry sand today but did not have many targets. So today I tried the wet stuff and I found a keeper...

I have been digging my low tones, all the trash, pull tabs, foil, bottle caps ect.. I dug a 12:16 on the CTX probably another nickel but not this time..

First platinum ring!! 9 grams :hello2: The other ring is stamped HONG KONG, junker, .4 grams what?? Total clad about $2.65.. I will take it..

Thanks for looking, GL & HH...

way to go on the big plat ring! The one I found rang up 12-19 on the E-trac. Gotta love those pull tab signals. Congratulations on a beauty!

Wow nice I haven't gotten platinum ring yet congratulations

sweet find, still looking for my 1st. congrats

Thanks for the comments, it was a nice surprise,.. not a pull tab..

True, but platinum is platinum, where gold will 9K-22K usually. So at the end of the day one is worth it's weight and it's not the gold. :)

Congrats on the ring, it's a nice heavy piece of change.

That is a beautiful ring,, Platinum has escaped the sweep of my coil.
Congrats

Must have a heck of a scoop to be able to pull up that chunk of metal.. excellent find!

Very nice looking ring. Congrats.

Congratualtions on the nice ring find! :occasion14:

It was a pretty strong unique signal on the CTX. I have learned to dig all signals especially when in the sand.

We all know that there can be a lot of trash signals dug, but you just have dig all targets.

You have to or you will miss out on some potentially great finds. What great hobby.. :icon_thumright:
