Hell yeah!

Way to knock em' dead! :headbang:

The only platinum I've ever scanned is the ring I bought for my wife... still waiting on my free one.

Big congratulations.

Congratulations! Great find!

I could read the "Plat" marking, something came after that which I couldn't read.

Dumb question, but intelligent since i've never found one. Are platinum rings graded by PM content like gold? Or are they just platinum with a bit of alloy?

I found a Platinaire ring with 5% platinum yesterday. I guess technically I've found a platinum ring now. However.... As you can guess, maybe someday I'll find the real deal...

Great questions! It is my hope that someone here could answer them.

Yeah, found it with the Excal II....gave a nice mid tone. Swung it below the AT Pro and again mid tone solid 60 on the vdi.

Congrats on your "Platinaire"! First time I ever heard of it.

The hallmark after the PLAT looks to be either a hollow sort of "S" or a snake, or a swan?? Can't tell.
This is my second platinum ring. The one I got last year was a Christian Bauer and was marked "PT950 Au750". My guess is that this one is pure platinum.

I found a plat. 950 that looks just like yours last year 14 grams. The one i found had a makers mark name. I googled his name and it has a retail price of $ 3,600.00 its nice to hold a plat. ring. you can feel the weight compared to gold. Congrats of the find hope you find more. Joe.

My wife's platinum ring hits the same as a nickel. It's holding one 3/4 ct solitaire and six flanking baguettes.just over 1.5 total.

Great three-hours! :notworthy:

Wow, congrats.

If worth that much, great find Urban!
