I found this in Germany and found a good amount of information on it, but I can't find a date when it was made.

Please look at attachments for details. Pictures with the history are from the internet and mine still have a leather strap attached.

Any help on the date it was made would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for looking!

Second photo bottom just above the big toe is what appears to be the maker's mark, that will help narrow the dating down for you hopefully.

From its frequency of online appearances, my guess is it is (or was) produced as long as the demand remained. Therefore any example of this 'plaque' could have been made in one of several years. Its highest value, of course, is in its religious meaning.

Thanks for the comments. I can't really ID if that is a makers Mark or exactly what it it. Also, I agree the value is in the meaning of the medallion! I wasn't necessarily looking for an exact date, just a date when it was first produced to give me an idea.

Thanks for looking!

Small tokens and crosses like this or even only pics of Saints are given from time to time to altar boys as token of gratitude for their service. The inscription is one of the classics for such things.

Aeehhhmmmm: Thats highly gender incorrect now: "given to altar persons", it should read these days.
