What is this? It looks to me like its been flaked in spots, and looks like a flint....it has 3 sides....but I am not sure. What do you think? Thanks!

It looks to me like they were just testing the material, or just needed a quick-edge for something. Around quarry areas you will find tons of articles just like that, where they were checking the quality of the material.
