Yea Does Look like an Ashtray.

Gonna Need more Pics from Different Angles & Distances along with something for Size Comparison,
If it's not, or If it's a cut Slab from a stone

But pretty Sure I See where the Lip on the Side to hold a Cigarette is

Does look like an agate ashtray. Probably an agate in any case.
