Nice.

I don't know the artist, but this type of reverse painting on glass commonly comes from Senegal, and the surname Lô also originates from that area of Africa.

I wonder if Gora M. Bengue, another Senelgalese artist (1931-1988), emulated the OP's artist or was it, perhaps, the other way around.
