Could be gold bearing. You really wont know until you pan it down to black sand. If you cant pan it down, there are plenty of youtube videos explaining how. i dont know much at all about gold ore. the pictures of the rocks in your hand dont tell me much. Try to get the dirt in your bowl/pan way down to black sands and repost a picture once you swirl the water around to spread out the heavies.

Where in a drainage you collect a sample makes all the difference in the world. The top picture looks like very ordinary sand collected from the surface area of a sand bar. Gold and black sands are heavy and will settle and collect close to or on bedrock or a clay layer so that is the first place I would take samples. If you don't have a pan get one and practice panning. There are hundred or thousands of videos available on the internet that show how to do this. Yea, looks like a lot of iron in that. Kinda like some sand I was sluicing last week. The whole gravel bar wasn't showing much color, but I sampled a pig pit of sand and it was the best pan to that point. I thought it was pretty strange.
Ok lets try this.... Where are you located at least a region or country?... Are there historical mines? why is this particular sand in a world made of dirt standing out for you? If your hoping to get rich quick slow down you can get help here but, we will need actual information.....
