Truth or not…….it is reason enough to smash the cats…….
 

This is too funny. My grandmother had a black and white striped cat she used as a decoration on her screened in porch and it was in that position previously described, lying down with the tail curled along its body up to its nose. I remember it was heavy, heavier than regular ceramic, and solid. She called it a "plaster cat" and it even had its own name. My grandparents home burned in 1965 or '66 and I never saw it again, of course. So, there are, or were heavy plaster or paper mache cats in the pose described around......LoL
