Please can anyone help me!! Lol I'm a new user my name is natalie me and my partner have only been metal detecting about 7months and we can't identify anything please please PLEASE can someone help me is be very grateful :D

Looks like a scabbard tip for sword or knife,I think.What ever it is it's sure pretty!!!! GodBless Chris

Yup, looks like a scabbard tip to me as well...now the question is...how old and where did it come from?

Any info on where ya found it? History of the place?

I'm in hertfordshire in England :) it was found in some trees does that help thankyou for being so helpful ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

We call the first item a (depending on size) a sword or dagger 'Chape'.

The second item may need more cleaning for an ID, as the words will be a good clue, I hope. Plus better pictures of both sides with measurements.
