Plz help identify

Curious what this could be, looks like bone on back, front has a bit of detail, almost looks like a face, maybe just me.

You found some Chert it appears, which is a type of quartz. It can be found in many colors and shapes. Yours looks very much like what I find along the shoreline of lake Michigan here in WI.

Ok, Chert, i see, I still confused, what about back of rock? Back of rock does not look like any chert pictures i have seen

I agree with Fuss, chert. As to your confusion there maybe another mineral present or you may be seeing the more weathered portion of the stone, the rind, that occurs over time. In chert there are also differences in the crystalline make up that can make some parts harder, and shinier, or softer and duller.

I just looked at many chert pictures, I can see some features chert, but I don’t see anything like it.

It looks like it could contain some fossil remnants as well after looking a bit closer.
