PMD or REALLY Greasy Dime?

Sorry to double this up, but am really curious as to other's input on this dime. I'm hoping one hell of a grease strike, because of the shape of the other side, but not sure:

Looks to be a strike through error. Pretty major one, too. Notice the really strong strike on the reverse? The additional thickness of whatever it is struck through made that happen. Probably grease, but it could be something else. Very cool.
