Hi, I dug this old knife yesterday. It was down about 5" same level as 4 wheats I dug. Oldest being 1927. It is quite heavy and appears to be brass. It was heavily tarnished, but cleaned up nicely with a buffing wheel. A soak in wd40 allowed the blade (badly eaten) to be opened. It was attached to this key ring, but I unfortunately broke the bail while cleaning it. It has very weird markings, card suits, a crown and lion/snake head on it. There are two word on both sides, one appears to be maybe 4/5 letters long and starts with a B or E the 2nd word is Knife. Anyone have any idea about the age/maker of this knife?

Identifying that car emblem may help date it.

I couldn't see anything on the tang, but the lettering on the right side of the crown says "Knife" Unfortunately the word on the left side is almost gone. It looks like it says B or E something.

No it was found in an old park, but the soil there is very sandy, river/glacial fill.
