POCKET WATCH WINDERS? NEED SOME HELP!

dug these 2 items this year.I have been corresponding with Don in SJ who in turn has been in contact with Iron Patch & Crusader. trying to get to the bottom of this mystery. I guess someone said it may be a tobacco tamper but after seeing the end on the less fancy one Don seems to agree with me that they are pocket watch winders.
wanted to get your thoughts or opinions.
I figure it was suspended by a ring in the centers attached to a watch chain like in my laughable drawing.
the gold filled one,while cleaning the end came off.there is iron in the end and i super glued it back on.

I don't believe that someone would use a fine key like this for a pipe tamper...but...no telling what some humans will do in a pinch.

I dont think pipe tamper . If not a watch key with steel end , my only other guess would be top part of a pencil.

I'm with you with the mechanical pencil, there's lot of examples in Google images and some attach to watch chains, with a fob on the other end.

They sort of resemble the ends of a seal top spoon, but I highly doubt that's what they are. Interesting .....
