Found this pocketknife Monday in my back yard. I know it's not old, but was wondering if it's a fairly good quality piece or junk. Opened up it is 5 3/4" long. On one side of the blade it says,"Gerber Portland, OR". On the other side it says, "Silver Knight By Sakai-Japan".
It was pretty corroded but a soaking of WD-40 helped.
Any ideas to the age, value, or quality?
Thanks
Scott

It's a lockback, maybe from the 1970s. Gerber is usually a pretty good brand. There's one just like it for sale on eBay. See eBay item #150072509486 And one similar to it at eBay #190063917420.
