type1.webptype2.webptype3.webp Can any of you guys tell me the material type ,? i believe this is the first i have seen this. The pics dont do it justice, in open light it is really vibrant.

That's pretty wild. I've seen lots of KY flint, but never that type. Unknown to me. Most of KY is limestone so there is a wide variety of flint there. Gary
 

It looks like harrodsburg chert to me
 

Odd material and odd looking tip , I have a few similar in color made from rhyolite but your looks too waxy for that. There’s Kentucky Sonora flint or blue flint maybe something of that nature ..... pretty whatever it is
 

I have found a number of relics in Indiana made of harrodsburg chert and feel relatively confident from the photos and my finds that is the material.

Looks like it's been fired , thinking fired river pebble/cobble, a heavier deep channel chert/granite river stones, used for everything from blades to game balls, at least in my area they did,,, sw pa
 

How about porphyry ? What ever it is, it is nice.
 

Thanks for the response , im strongly leaning toward harrodsburg , never really looked it up , its a new find for me. yes it is damaged, you will find very, very, few g10s in my collection lol.
