Knowing where points are from would help but the middle one kinda looks like a Meserve and the other could be an unfluted clovis, there appears to be a fluting nipple in the base indentation.

They all came out of east Texas, Caddo indian.. I was told that the on the top right 2nd over was about ten thousand years old. A Arcyoligist told me that when i stoped to see what they were diging up on the side of highway 49 in Mt.pleasant Texas

Texas is right for a Meserve...9500 BP, I thought it might be from that area. Kind of like a western Dalton.
You`re lucky to have found it. Nice collection.

more points, with new new drilled gorget.

I just wanted to show the new comers out there what kind of workmanship the Caddo Indians had, they made points out of anything they could get their hands on! petrified wood sometimes and that's what i was goin to show yall 3 here today, their not the best but i think they are neat. I also wanted to show some of the trade quartz i have found on camp sites, i know this because all this was found hundreds of miles from Arkansa and Oklahoma, All of this came out of east Texas, , i hope you can see how much trouble the person went through to keep the hole he was drilling inline, up until the point when it broke! I bet he was mad when that happend. Also on here i have a flint for a flint lock gun, I'm sorry but i forgot to Marc it for y'all, but if you look close you can tell the difference from the others.. I hope y'all enjoy looking at these. the first on the top left is a knife.

Those all are nice finds, thanks for sharing... also looks like you got the oversized pictures under control now?

Re: more points, with new new drilled gorget.

ink-a-lot, my theory on the Gorget or Pendant with the line cut into is that they were probably scoring it to snap it off right there and salvage part of it. It may have broken during the drilling of the hole or while they were trying to peck or grind it into shape so they were trying to cut a scoring line into it to snap it off right there and then start on another piece. I really don't think they would have gone to all the trouble of cutting in the line just to keep the drilling in lone since they would then have to polish out the line.

Very nice pieces though. Thanks for posting the pictures.

SO would they cut right through the hole?
