I have a 120 year old house. I was working under the house and in the dirt I found an old blue and white porcelain marble. It is not as round as a new one so this must have been had made. Any ideas??
Clay marbles, which were glazed or painted, were mass produced in the 1800's into the 1900's. Their value is less than pretty glass ones, but condition and size matter (larger is better). And, yes, made by hand, thus the imperfection.
