Makes sense. The Portuguese were the first Europeans to round the Cape and explore the east coast. Just south of Kenya is the first fort the Portuguese built on Isla Mozambique in 1536.

Do you think it is a 16th century Portuguese wreck Alexandre? I don't know enough about non-cannon artefacts to make a judgement on it.

We are in contact with the Kenyan archaeologists. we intend to use our wood dendro project - Home | ForSeaDiscovery - to nail if it was built in Iberia or not. Besides that, who knows?
