✅ SOLVED Possible Brooch or hair barrette?

Hi all,
Does any one know what this is? I found it about 2 1/2 to 3 feet down while chasing other signals. Wife thinks its a barrette. Daughter thinks its a brooch. any insight would be great.

I would lean towards brooch. What's the other side look like?

It has a metal oval that looks like what's on a hair pin, but also has a curved hook like on a suspenders buckle

The size make me think perhaps a ladies belt buckle?

I believe you have solved the mystery, good work. looked up sash buckles and there was the same kind of clip it has on the back, just not silver, still a cool find. Thanx!
