Possible Corps badge?

I found this yesterday about 2 inches down, but also found a triangular knapsack hook very close to it about 2 inches down. I believe the yard had been scraped at one time removing some top soil. Opinions and thoughts are appreciated.

You've found a lucky 4-leaf clover emblem. The only similar US Army civil war Corps Badge had 3 leaves -- never 4 leaves.

Maybe a pendant of the Civil War era? The lower left notch has what appears to be a broken loop in it. Great find!
