Possible crude pestle.

I found this in some creek gravel my grandfather had been hauling from a creek located about 2/10's of a mile from flint city. Geofact or legitimate?

That's what I was thinking too Rack. The edges of the small end seem warn. But could that be from creek wear and tear?

Is the worked looking bottom a bit concave?

Up here we have something I call berry crushers. They could crush the soft berry for use, and not the bitter seed. Mine only show wear on what I would call the rim of the end we are talking about. I will see if I can find a couple. They are likely in a bucket, and not displayed.
