Well, it appears that I will be taking a part-time job instead of running my business full time. This will really cut down on my ability to travel and hit new banks, dump on the run, etc. I assume I will be able to get some hunting in but I can't imagine I will have the time to get 2k in hand rolled dimes per week.

Maybe this will allow the local banks to refresh a little. Either I've tapped them out or I've got some serious competition. I have had a very hard time getting halves of late.

I must say that I have followed this board for about a year now and take great pleasure in everyones finds. Keep up the work everyone. I will be here from time to time.

What is biz bad now that you gotta take a PT job?

The economy is in the tank. I am sick of hearing in the news of how the economy is recovering
because some companies are showing profits this quarter. Until the unemployment situation is fixed there will be no recovery. I have read that one possible reason more money is being spent in the domestic market is because people have stopped paying their mortgages and are using that money to buy other stuff. Don't know if that is true or not.

Small business owners like myself are feeling it everywhere. I don't see the economy improving for a few years if that. I see another big stock wipeout coming this year. All my personal opinion of course.

Wer'll miss you. Good luck with the new job, and I hope things recover enough that you can go back to your own company again in the near future. :-)

You can still get the dime handrolls every couple of weeks. The banks don't usually turn them in until they collect 1k worth.
Good luck

There is actually no recovery & they know & plan for it, what they are doing is talking up the economy, remember perception is everything to the managers in their management of the dumbed down masses; they fully intend to enslave US, we do in fact have a madd socialist government who will stop at nuthing to accomplish their vision of a top down system of total management.

The BIG ABnks made all their money not from loans but borrowing from Fed at 0.25% and buying Treasuries paying %3 or so, it is all just a big con game on US while they consolidate their power by stealth. Watch Gold & Silver despitetheir acknowledged suppression of them they still rise- people are bailing out of $'s and US, record numbers who can are giving up US citizenship and fleeing US the wise ones KNOW what is coming, Police State US of A!

Actually business is doing quite well. However, I provide training sessions for the State of Ohio's Bureau of Worker's Compensation and changes to the program will severely alter the demand for my services. Fortunately my other endeavors are doing well and a new outpatient clinic I have started seems to be taking off. However, I cannot expect my existing products to carry me for the short-term and an offer I cannot refuse (they basically asked me to write my ticket and offered me medical benefits for part-time) came out of no where this week.

I don't ever plan to work full time for anyone ever again but the p.t. job fits just right.

I must admit I've spent some days just hopping from bank to bank. I'll miss the free time, but hey I'm only 41 so It's not like doing a little work for someone else is going to kill me. I won't be able to cover the same territory and I will have to buy whatever hand rolls a bank may have and dump when I can.

OWS, good luck. Joining the other saps like me who are stuck in an office most of the day. Sucks for CRH, but that's where the money is right now.

There will never be a "recovery" until tax rates are slashed and those of us who want to start businesses and hire more people feel that every nickel we make it not being drained from us. What is perceived as recovery right now is just a faux vision of what happens when the printing presses are on full speed. Small businesses, who make up a huge portion of those who are employed will not hire right now and are cutting back where they can survive. Lets hope in November there are some major changes which can put this country back on the right track.

Best of luck with your new endeavors.

The only viable solution for a real economic recovery is the imposition of very high tariffs on imports. This will promote new industry that we lost to slave wage countries, and preserve what little industry we have left.
We should be able to lower our taxes as well.

rich i believe you are exactly right. what is going to happen to all other american industries is the same thing that happened to the textile industry here in the south. that is what makes me so angry about these bailouts. the textile industry did not get one and here in the south it was our main industry. we have had some auto makers locate here but so far they have not taken up the slack. the only reason they came here was to get away from the unions in the north, and most of them are foreign car makers at that.

And it is by design, I do not care how much lip service the Republicans & Democrats give tot he truth (before the next elections), they will turn day after election and continue US down the path to 3rd world tyranny by design. Alex Jones speaks of it, I subscribed to his Prison Planet website and am downlaoding ALL of his videos- they are excellent (documented) educational tools.

Cool off everyone, I took the job to get decent health insurance at an affordable rate. I had the poor judgement of getting cancer about 8 years ago and the insurance companies have been redlining me for the past several years. They cannot do that when I join a large group.

It would be great if we could keep this site about coin roll hunting.

CRH'ing is just a hobby, the rest is life & death, I personally appreciate the xtras info wish more would care & post it- get involved while we still can.

I know the feeling. I am very busy as of late with my new house etc. I still go on road trips and do some boxes but have very little time to post. Good luck to you.

Just realized my CRH'ing is probably over for a while anyway as my Banks and Brinks itself are now under water, literally though fiscally they are too am sure; water levels have broken all time flood stage levels and are expected to go higher as KY rivers dump into TN. This is amazing to see. I've a small creek next to my house, it flooded but believe it or not it has flooded worse (higher) in past years. I'm still gonna hit the one Bank that is NOT under water tomorrow & see if they have my coins not expecting them toothough as Brinks is in Nashville & is in area under water.

I know, that TN flooding is amazing to see. Feel sad for those who are in the path as the losses will be immense.
