Possible error half dollar? with pictures

This is the reverse of a 1982 p half dollar. I was wondering if this is a grease filled die or another type of error. If so, is it worth anything? Please help.

Looks like post damage to me but I could be wrong. What does the other side look like?

The other side is completely normal. No more damage than an average half dollar.

I don't know of any kind of mint error that would produce that sort of appearance. Probably some sort of heat damage, maybe some sort of corrosive chemical.
