Possible Fossil!

Hello Everyone! I found this strange rock down by a creek and was wondering if it could be part of a fossil. I also thought maybe arrowhead, but not sure. There is a channel in the same spot on both sides and just doesn't appear to be just a normal rock. Any ideas? Thank you, Paul

Hi Paul....can't see an arrowhead...but it sure does look "different". I can see what you're talking about, kind of looks like some kind of impression...but why on "both" sides? Hum....don't know...but your cat is cute....good luck on it!

Definitely not an arrow head. How big is this rock? The reason why I'm asking is because it looks like a tomahawk. See that indent if you will? That is where something was tied. I'm not saying that it is a tomahawk. Weathering can make a rock appear to look like if someone was making something out of it or if it was really something.

I guess it would be good to have something in the picture for scale. Without better pictures of all angles, I wouldn't hazard a guess as to whether it's an artifact. Yakker

A size of a quarter... defently not a tomahawk. It just could be an ordinary rock.
